OPEN CITY organizes training and creative activities aiming to empower unemployed citizens in the shaping of the district they live in.
The participants will be guided via creative and non-formal experiences that will help to identify their needs, while fostering their civic participation and collaboration.
Thus, they will contribute to regenerate neglected areas of their neighborhood, and also gain soft skills extremely useful to forge their professional identity.
Open City will bring about collective systems of ‘physical spaces and skills’, counting upon the activation of streets and district corners in terms of social and cultural life.

Project Partner. Project School leads project activities in Italy, in particular in the City of Milan. It will coordinate the selection of Italian participants and coordinate the training in Italy. At project level, Project School will coordinate the design and the implementation of pilot projects in the OPEN CITIES.
